STEVENTON THE CAUSEWAY SU4691 (South side) 12/74 Nos. 83/85 06/08/52 (Formerly listed as No.83)


Includes those parts formerly separately listed as No.85. House, formerly two dwellings, Probably late C13, with some C15 reconstruction. Render to left and centre, probably on timber-framing; painted brick to right, with fragments of timber-framing; old plain-tile roof, hipped to right, with corrugated metal sheeting to right; brick ridge stacks to centre and to left of centre. Single storey and attic; 4-bay ranqe, Plank doors to left of centre and to right. 3-light casements to left of centre and to centre. C20 metal casement to right of centre. Bread oven projection to left, 3 gabled dormers, to left of centre, right of centre, and to right. Interior not inspected but noted as having 4 cruck trusses with collars and wind braces.
